Our audit process is secure, simple and easy to follow.

How does SMSF Audit work?

Every accountant is different. Our flexible approach allows us to work with you throughout the process. We provide a Pre-Audit Checklist to assist in the determination of documents needed for audit.

For each engagement, we are obliged to issue you with:

• Engagement letter including our fee quote,

• Trustee representation letters,

• Management Letter comments,

Based on the completed Pre-Audit Checklist and also discussion with us, you will know the required documents needed to get the audit process started.

Once you have all the required audit documents, we recommend you send the information to us through our secured website, where you can upload scanned documents to us for audit.

In addition to our secured website, there are 4 other ways you can send the documentation to us. SEE HERE.

Timing, deadlines and audit issues are discussed with you on an ongoing basis.

Continuous improvement – we issue a management letter to you for non material issues, and discuss contraventions in advance.

Finally, we mail you 2 original copies of our signed SMSF audit reports, and also invoice for payment.

How long does it take?

We are committed to completing each audit within 10 days*.

* This excludes funds sent to us in the months of February and March, and those funds which have incomplete information or contraventions which will require a longer time to audit.
